Frequently asked Questions

What Not to Do

Please refrain from applying oil or oil-based moisturizers within 4 hours of a pole lesson as this will prevent your skin from properly hanging onto or adhering to the pole. We do however recommend applying a water-based moisturizers in the morning of the day of your pole class, as completely dry skin also has difficulty adhering to the pole.

What to Wear

Its always best to wear clothing that is suitable for the class you will be attending:

for Intro to pole Wear longer sweatpants that cover the back of the knee, along with a t-shirt or tank top until you get used to the pole. Recommended footwear includes indoor rubber-soled shoes and bare feet.
Beginner or level one classes are the same. Later in more advanced classes you'll want to wear form fitting clothes e.g. dress comfy, think yoga/pilates gear and shorts.

What is the Class Size?

We generally limit class sizes to the number of poles we have, currently its Six.

I have Never taken a Pole Class Should I be Nervous?

Everyone may feel a little nervous at first, new activity, new people, new environment! After your first class, you should feel way more at home. in my ten plus years i have found the pole community to be bright, funny, and supportive community!  there is absolutely no nudity, and you will do only what feels comfortable for you in a non-competitive and safe environment.

Can I watch a class?
